Annual National Breed Show
The Annual National Breed Show is held at the South of England Show Ground, Ardingly, West Sussex, beginning June. It is the most wonderful place to come and see these wonderful horses and ponies. Classes usually start with the In Hand Ponies on the Monday, with the In Hand Horses on Tuesday. morning Harness Classes start with the Novice Classes on Tuesday afternoon and carry on until the Final Championship Horse Class on Friday morning. International, Ridden, Private Drive Hackney Type, Pairs, & Junior Whip are all catered for. Not to be missed is the Parade of the In Hand Champions on Thursday morning.
Rare Breeds Heritage Show Incorporating the Hackney Championships 27th- 28th September 2013

The Hackney Horse & Pony of the Year Championship Show
takes place at Bury Farm Equestrian Centre, Slapton in September. Hackney horses and ponies who have qualified throughout the season meet to compete for the ultimate accolade "Hackney of the Year" it really is a battle of the "creme de la creme". The atmosphere is electric, the excitement tangible, an event not to me missed if you are serious about Hackneys. The HHS Private Driving Championship, Junior Whip & International Classes are also held.
