The Hackney Horse Society Limited has agreed to rescind immediately and unequivocally on a final basis the bans imposed on Mr Joey Peters and Ms Rachel Milton (aka Ms Rachel Moore) and to reinstate on a final basis their membership of the Hackney Horse Society Limited, including but not limited to allowing them without fetter to compete with, transport, export and trade horses.

The Hackney Horse Society Limited has also agreed to refrain from taking any disciplinary or related action against either or both of Mr Joey Peters and Ms Rachel Milton relating to or in connection with the allegations that gave rise to the said bans.

The Hackney Horse Society Limited has consented to all those matters being enshrined in an order of the Court, which includes provision for the payment by the Hackney Horse Society Limited of Mr Peters’ and Ms Milton’s costs.

In addition, the Hackney Horse Society Limited without reservation apologises to Mr Peters and Ms Milton in respect of the bans imposed on them, which should not have been imposed, and regrets that Mr Peters and Ms Milton had to issue a claim and obtain an interim injunction for those bans to be rescinded.

For the avoidance of any doubt, the bans related in no way whatsoever to animal cruelty and Mr Peters’ and Ms Milton’s respective reputations should in no way be tarnished by the actions of the Hackney Horse Society Limited.
