It was lovely to be back at Ardingly after a 2 year break and wonderful to see such a high standard of Hackney being shown. Especially lovely to see all the young stock bred over the last 3 years in their first public outing.

Hackney horses and ponies who have qualified throughout the season meet to compete for the ultimate accolade “Hackney of the Year” it really is a battle of the “creme de la creme”. The atmosphere is electric, the excitement tangible, an event not to be missed if you are serious about Hackneys.
2022 sees an exciting collaboration with the Victoria Foods Carriage Driving Extravaganza and The Welsh Pony & Cob Society. There will be over 40 classes, something for all driving enthusiasts as well as the excitement of the Osborne Double Scurry.
